Emergency Lighting

Emergency lighting is necessary to provide adequate illumination throughout emergency exit escape routes.  Both The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and BS5266 place responsibilities on employers, businesses and other organisations to ensure that Emergency Lighting systems provided are adequate, and that they are periodically tested and inspected to ensure that all lights function and that lights and signage are positioned correctly.

The Lighthouse can provide:

•        Battery discharge test/battery charging functional check
•        Lumen level output assessment/luminaire duration testing
•        Labelling of luminaires
•        Supply of test results and/or log books
•        Supply & fitting of emergency exit direction signs
•        Survey to assess adequate coverage/advice on any improvements required
•        NICEIC Certification
•        Compatibility with BS requirements
•        Client training to carry out interim testing.
