   Periodic Solid Wire Testing

Every electrical installation deteriorates with use and time and it should be periodically inspected and tested by a competent person.  BS7671: 2008 (Requirements for Electrical Installations) recommends every electrical installation is subjected to Periodic Inspection and Testing.  More information can be found on the Electrical Safety Council website www.esc.org.uk

A Periodic Inspection reports on the state of the electrical installation within the premises, it details any non-compliances in line with current regulations (IEE 17th Edition BS7671:2008) and the general condition of the wiring, lights and accessories.
