Test & Inspection

 

The Lighthouse provide a full range of testing services necessary for Health & Safety, Insurance, Sale and Refurbishment requirements together with fault finding

On completion of the electrical test The Lighthouse will provide a full report and the appropriate NICEIC certificate/log book, together with a quotation for any remedial works that may be necessary.


Periodic Solid Wire Testing

A Periodic Inspection reports on the state of the electrical installation within the premises, it details any non-compliances in line with current regulations (IEE 17th Edition BS7671:2008) and the general condition of the wiring, lights and accessories.  For more information Click here


Emergency Lighting Testing

Emergency lighting is necessary to provide adequate illumination throughout emergency exit escape routes.  It is essential that they are periodically tested and inspected to ensure that all lights function and that lights and signage are positioned correctly. For more information Click here


Fire Alarm Testing

Regular checks are required as an essential part of the maintenance of your fire alarm system.  BS5839 requires an annual test (periodic test) is carried out by a competent person with specialist knowledge of fire detection and alarm systems.

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

The Health & Safety Executive state that nearly a quarter of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable equipment; the vast majority of these accidents result in electric shock.  To ensure that the risks are kept to a minimum you will need to take steps to ensure that portable electrical equipment is safely used, stored and checked. For more information
